Scope of application
The off-the-vehicle wheel balancer is designed for dynamic
and/or static balancing of car and light-truck wheels weighing
up to 70 kg and having an overall diameter of 950 mm.
In addition to conventional balancing operations, irregular run-
ning conditions of the wheel caused by geometric deformations
of the rims and/or tyres, hence unsmooth ride, can be identified,
improved or, if possible, even eliminated. By exact adjustment
of the two wheel components relative to each other optimum
wheel running conditions or at least balance weight minimisa-
tion can be achieved.

Indices utilisés dans ce mode d'emploi pour faciliter la lecture et

Domaine d'application
L'équilibreuse de roues démontées est conçue pour l'équilibra-
ge dynamique et/ou statique des roues de voitures tourisme et
de camionnettes d'un poids maximal de 70 kg et d'un diamètre
maximal de 950 mm.
Outre l'équilibrage conventionnel d'une roue, elle permet aussi
d'identifier, d'améliorer ou même d'éliminer une marche irrégu-
lière des roues causée par des imperfections géométriques de
jante et/ou de pneu. Une stabilité de marche optimale ou tout au
moins une minimisation des masses d'équilibrage est obtenue
par un ajustement précis des deux éléments de la roue l'un par
rapport à l'autre.
