5.4 Requirements concerning the electrical
installation
When using the device, a residual current
device (FI/RCD) type B /B+ must always be con-
nected upstream!
Before connecting the device to the electrical
installation (house installation), have the installa­
tion checked by a qualified electrician as appro­
priate.
Devices equipped with an AC/DC sensitive residual current
device (FI/RCD) type B/B+, must only be connected to
and operated with electrical installations that are suitable
(house installation).
Devices that have such a residual current device are
marked with the following sticker.

Before connecting the device to the electrical
installation (house installation), have the installa­
tion checked by a qualified electrician for ade­
quate fuse protection.

The example shows that the residual current device (FI/
RCD) of type B/B+ is connected upstream of the residual
current device (FI/RCD) of type AC/A.
