Unused Battery Mode

The quick test "Unused battery mode" enables you to
check new batteries. With this quick test, up to 100
batteries can be checked in a row. Unlike the battery
test, this test indicates the results "

Neither decision will tell you that a battery is bad, but
rather that the measured voltage and CCA fall in or out
of your requirements.
1. Select UNUSED BAT. MODE from the Main Menu and
press E.
2. Select ON and press E.
3. The tester displays the total number of Inventory Tests
completed out of 100. Select Clear Memory to clear
the results from memory and reset the total to 0 or
select Add To Memory to add the results to memory.

Be sure to monitor the number of tests performed
and be ready to print the results as the number
approaches 100. When the limit is reached you will
no longer be able to test until you clear all results
from memory.
4. Press E to continue.
5. BATTERY STANDARD
Select NORMAL, EFB, AGM (GLASS MAT), AGM
SPIRAL or GEL.

With EFB BAT technology, select the battery value
afterwards.
6. BATTERY TYPE
Select the battery standard to be applied.

Select the battery value of the battery to be tested.
Keep  or  pressed to scroll faster.
 Press E to start the quick test. After a few sec-
onds, the condition of the battery and the volt-
age measured will be indicated on the display.
BAT 131 also indicates the selected battery value
and the battery standard.
Example for a result
In the results screen, the battery connection cable
can be removed and immediately connected to the
next battery. The next quick test will then be carried
out immediately. That way, several batteries can be
tested in quick succession.
