Operating an equipment through a network of a different supplier

This section describes (using an example) the interface IP configuration for a network with management links transiting through equipment of
a different manufacturer.
For each equipment, you can configure the Ethernet port, the Equipment address and four PPP (Point to Point Protocol) software ports from
PPP1 to PPP4. For each PPP software port, you can assign one of five physical ports corresponding to the MNGT port and to slots A, B, C and D, and two
channels VC12 referenced P#1 and P#2.

! Refer to the section Connecting to an ADR155c to configure the
Ethernet port and the Equipment address of each rack.
! Refer to the section Configuring a PPP port to configure the PPP
ports of each equipment.
! Refer to the next page for more details concerning configuration of port
