Building a bus link

This section describes (using an example) the interface IP configuration for a bus link.
For each equipment, you can configure the Ethernet port, the Equipment address and four PPP (Point to Point Protocol) software ports from
PPP1 to PPP4. For each PPP software port, you can assign one of five physical ports corresponding to the MNGT port and to slots A, B, C and D, and to
channels VC12 referenced P#1 and P#2.
