WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury, the user must read and understand
the instruction manual.
The unit has been designed with the benefit of the most up-to-date technology and
to recognised safety regulations, and is safe to operate. However, if it is used incor-
rectly or for a purpose for which it was not intended, risks to the user or to third
parties or damage to property may result. For this r eason, read and comply with the
safety instructions!

General Safety Instructions
WARNING
● Only use the unit for the purpose for which it was intended, with due a ttention to
the general safety and accident prevention regulations.
● Only allow trained personnel to use it. Apprentices may only operate the unit
when they are older than 16, when this is necessary for their training, and under
the supervision of a trained operative.
● Keep the work area tidy. Clutter can prove dangerous.
● Avoid dangerous ambient influences (e.g. inflammable fluids or gases).
● Provide adequate lighting at the workplace.
● Wear tight work clothes, keep long hair well clear, take off jewellery and similar.
● Use personal safety equipment (safety glasses).
● Keep bystanders away, especially children.
● Take up a firm standing position during operation.
● Do not overload the unit.
● Check the unit occasionally for damage, and to see that it is operating correctly.
● Replace worn parts as early as possible.
● Only use genuine spare parts and accessories, for personal safety r easons, to
ensure correct operation of the unit, and to preserve the basis for w arranty claim.
● All unauthorised modifications of the unit are prohibited for safety r easons.
● All repair work must be performed only by specialist personnel or by p ersons
familiar with the unit.
Specific Safety Instructions
WARNING
● The REMS pressurised water canister meets the requirements of the EC Direc-
tive 97/23.
● Check that the safety valve is in perfect working order by pulling the red knob.
● Do not exceed the filling capacity of 8 l.
● Do not exceed the operating temperature of pressurised canisters of max. 30°C.
Do not expose canisters to intense sunshine.
● Store the pressurised water vessel safe from frost.
● Check the pressurised water canister for damage (dents, tears). Do not repair
damaged canisters.

2. Commissioning and operation
Water can be supplied through the diamond core drilling crown with the REMS
pressurised water canister as an alternative to the water mains. To prepare the
pressurised water canister, screw the enclosed hose pipe to the connection on
the bottom of the canister and tighten by hand. Then press down the pump
handle, turn it to the left and unscrew the pump. Fill the canister with a max. 8
l of water and screw the pump back in. Pump up the canister by repeatedly
pumping the handle. The pressure created in the canister can be read on the
safety valve (Fig. 1.1 / red knob). The safety valve limits the operating pressure
to a max. of 3 bar. If the pressure in the canister continues to rise, the safety
valve blows off pressure. The pressure in the canister drops when water is
drawn off and has to be pumped back up. Before refilling the canister with
water, the red knob on the safety valve must be lifted to blow off the remaining
pressure.
CAUTION A defective safety valve must be replaced immediately.
3. Manufacturer's Warranty
The warranty period shall be 12 months from delivery of the new product to the
first user but shall be a maximum of 24 months after delivery to the Dealer. The
date of delivery shall be documented by the submission of the original purchase
documents, which must include the date of p urchase and the designation of
the product. All functional defects occurring within the warranty period, which
are clearly the consequence of defects in production or materials, will be
remedied free of charge. The remedy of defects shall not extend or renew the
guarantee period for the product. Damage a ttributable to natural wear and tear,
incorrect treatment or misuse, f ailure to observe the operational instructions,
unsuitable operating materials, e xcessive d emand, use for unauthorized
purposes, interventions by the Customer or a third party or other reasons, for
which REMS is not responsible, shall be excluded from the warranty.
Services under the warranty may only be provided by customer service stations
authorized for this purpose by REMS. Complaints will only be a ccepted if the
product is returned to a customer service station autho r ized by REMS without
prior interference in an unassembled condition. R eplaced products and parts
shall become the property of REMS.
The user shall be responsible for the cost of shipping and returning the p roduct.
The legal rights of users, in particular the right to claim damages from the
Dealer, shall not be affected.

AVERTISSEMENT
● N'utiliser l'apppareil que pour accomplir les tâches pour lesquelles il a été spécia-
lement conçu et conformément aux prescriptions relatives à la s écurité du travail
et à la prévention des accidents.
● L'appareil ne doit être utilisé que par du personnel spécialement formé. Utilisation
interdite aux jeunes gens de moins de 16 ans, sauf en cas de formation profes-
sionnelle et, sous surveillance d'une personne qualifiée.
● Poste de travail propre et rangé, le désordre étant source de danger.
● Eviter toutes influences environnantes dangereuses (par exemple l iquides et gaz
inflammables, etc.)
● Assurer un éclairage parfait du poste de travail.
● Porter des vêtements de travail appropriés. Protéger les cheveux longs. Eviter
le port de gants, bijoux, etc.
● Utiliser les équipements de protection personnels (lunettes).
● Eviter l'approche de tierces personnes, les enfants en particulier.
● Veiller à prendre une position correcte pendant le travail.
● Eviter la surcharge de la machine.
● Contrôler périodiquement l'état et le fonctionnement de l'appareil.
● Remplacer immédiatement toutes pièces usées.
● Pour des raisons de sécurité personnelle, pour l'utilisation de l'apppareil aux fins
pour lesquelles il a été conçu, ainsi que pour justifier d'éventu e lles revendications
de garantie, n'utiliser que des accessoires et des p ièces de rechange d'origine
REMS.
● Pour des raisons de sécurité, toute modification injustifiée sur l'appareil est

AVERTISSEMENT

● Contrôler le bon fonctionnement de la soupape de sécurité en tirant sur le bouton
rouge.
● Ne pas dépasser la capacité de remplissage de 8 L.
● Ne pas dépasser la température de 30°C max. lorsque le réservoir est sous
pression.Ne pas exposer le réservoir à un fort ensoleillement.
● Tenir le réservoir d'eau sous pression à l'abri du gel.
● Contrôler l'état du réservoir d'eau sous pression (bosses, crevasses). Ne pas
effectuer de réparations sur des réservoirs endommagés.

2. Mise en service et fonctionnement
L'amenée d'eau par les couronnes de carottage diamantées peut alternativement
être faite par une conduite d'eau ou par le REMS réservoir d'eau sous pression.
Pour la mise en service du réservoir d'eau sous pression, visser le tuyau sur
le raccord situé en bas du réservoir et serrez-le à l'aide d'une main. Ensuite,
pousser la poignée de la pompe vers le bas, tourner à gauche et sortir la pompe
en vissant. Remplir le réservoir avec max. 8 l. d'eau et remettre la pompe en
place. Mettre le réservoir sous pression par mouvements de pompe répétés
avec la poignée de pompe. La pression du réservoir peut être lue au niveau
de la soupape de sécurité (Fig. 1.1 / bouton rouge). La soupape de sécurité
