Preparation of the Device
1. Place the device on a fl at surface with suffi cient space around it on all sides.
2. Place a suitable seat a suffi cient distance away in front of the device.
The chair or stool must be stable. You should be able to sit on it securely.
Do not place the device and the seat too far apart to make sure you can easily
reach both the hand pedal and the foot pedal.
3. Use the adjusting screw on the top tube rod to set the height of the hand pedal that
is right for you.
4. Use the adjusting screws on the hand pedal and foot pedal to select the levels of
diffi culty you want. For a high level of diffi culty turn the adjusting screws clockwise;
for an easy level of diffi culty turn them anticlockwise.
Use
1. Place your feet through the loops of the foot pedal and grasp the hand pedal with
both hands.
2. Pedal the foot pedal and turn the hand pedal at the same time. You can turn both
pedals either forwards or backwards.
You can also use each of the hand and foot pedals individually in training.
During training make sure that you keep your back straight.

Knee Bending
Adopt a posture that is slightly wider than the width of your
shoulders. Fix your eyes on a spot in front of you and keep your
upper body straight. Now slowly bend and stretch your knees.
Keep looking at your fi xed point as you do this. Make sure that
your back is straight and both feet remain fi rmly on the fl oor.
If necessary, use your arms to balance yourself by stretching
them out at a right angle in front of you. Repetitions: 5-10 times.
Bend Forward
Sit upright on a chair and place your feet next to each other
slightly wider apart than the width of your shoulders. Now slow-
ly bend forward and stay in this position for 3-5 seconds before
you sit upright again. Let your arms hang down loose as you
do this. Make sure that your back is straight and you do not
bend too far forward in order to prevent injuries. Repetitions:
3-10 times.
