8. Connection of communications
This chapter explains the process for wiring the inverter communications.
Read carefully before starting the connection process.
8.1. Safety instructions for the communications connection
DANGER
Make sure there is no voltage present on the unit before starting the connection.
Do not switch on the powerto the unit until you have successfully made the rest of the connections.
Use the Personal Protective Equipment specified in the section
CAUTION
Ingeteam accepts no liability for any damages caused by an incorrect connection.
After connecting the communications dongle, and if the Ethernet connector is not used, close the screw-on
cover of the connector.
In addition, the covers of the rest of the communications connectors must remain in place.
Ingeteam accepts no liability for the consequences resulting from failure to comply with these instructions.
8.2. Ethernet communication connection
The inverter can communicate via Ethernet.
8.2.1. Cabling requirements
For Ethernet communication, use a cable with a diameter of 4 to 6 mm.
8.2.2. Connection process
