Checklist before starting up
The use of paint thinners, gasoline, aggressive chemicals or scouring agents leads
to material damage to the surfaces! For cleaning, therefore, only use mild cleaning
agents!
Clean the machine and if necessary remove dirt and dust.
If the air filter is dirty, blow through the filter cartridge from the inside by moving a jet of
dry compressed air up and down. Continue to do this until all dust is removed. If
necessary, replace the air filter by a new one.
Check the carburettor for external dirt and dust and clean it with dry compressed air if
necessary.
Check lock nuts, screws and bolts for tightness. (Screws or bolts that have been loosened
by vibration can lead to accidents!)
Check motor-oil level.
Checking the engine oil level
ATTENTION! For transport motor oil has been drained. Fill up with 4-stroke quality
motor oil before first operation! Failure to do so will result in permanent motor
damage and void guarantee!
A too low oil level will cause damage to the engine and shorten the service life of the
machine. Therefore, check the motor oil level before every start and if necessary fill
up with oil.
