Special safety instructions for this machine
Check the condition of the machine daily before and after use and do not put the machine
into operation before. During inspection, pay close attention to the connections, safety
devices and safety signs.
Secure the logs with the screw cap clamping device instead of using the hand or the help of
another person. This safety measure enables correct tool operation with both hands.
When handling coiled saw blades, take special care to prevent them from unrolling
uncontrollably to avoid the risk of injury.
Excessive noise can cause hearing damage and temporary or permanent hearing loss. Wear
hearing protection certified according to health and safety regulations to limit noise
exposure
Ensure that unauthorised persons maintain an appropriate safety distance from the
machine, and in particular keep children away from the machine.

Safety instructions for machines with a combustion engines
Do not touch the motor and/or the exhaust system during operation or immediately after
switching off the machine! These parts become hot during operation and can cause serious
burns.
Do not touch the spark plug connector when the motor is running (electric shock!).
Do not operate the machine in closed locations or in poorly ventilated rooms unless there is
adequate ventilation by exhaust fans or hoses. (Danger of suffocation by carbon monoxide!).
Do not smoke while the machine is running.
Do not smoke while refuelling the machine.
Refuel the machine only in well-ventilated areas.
Do not refuel the machine while the motor is running or the machine is still hot.
Do not refuel the machine near open flames.
Do not spill fuel while refuelling.
Do not crank a flooded fuel motor as long as the spark plug is removed - fuel accumulated
