CAUTION - WARNING
To replace the belt on an engine

equipped with automatic tensioner
(see fig. 3), it is recommended to
contact the manufacturer of the vehicle
in which the engine is installed or a
workshop authorised by VM MOTORI
STELLANTIS EUROPE.
IMPORTANT
Turn off the engine and remove the
ignition key. Wait at least 6 minutes
before disconnecting the negative
battery cable.
1 - Let the engine cool down adequately to
avoid the risk of burning.
2 - Turn the automatic tensioner (A)
counter-clockwise to loosen the belt (B)
and remove it from the tensioner pulley
(C) fig.3.
3 - Remove the belt (B) and replace it

that it is correctly positioned in the
pulley seats.

near the moving parts.

disposal in compliance with the
legislation in force.
