Fine Tuning of the Helicopter

a) Setting the Receiver/Controller Component
In addition to the two electronic speed controllers for the electric driven motors, the receiver/controller component also
has an integrated gyroscope. This gyroscope system helps the tail of the helicopter to remain stable when hovering
and prevents it from swivelling to the side continuously due to air drafts or air turbulences.
The adjustment controller (1) for the right (viewed in flight
direction) of the receiver/controller component is intended
for gyro reaction sensitivity. You can make these adjustments
using a small screwdriver.
The further you turn the adjuster to the right, the stronger
the corrections (speed differences of the two rotors) at an
uncontrolled turn of the helicopter.
If the adjuster is turned too far towards the right, the heli-
copter will tend to show oscillating movements around the
yaw axis (rotor shaft). In this case, turn the adjuster a little
bit towards the left again to achieve the best reaction sensi-
tivity
Important information!
Always perform settings with the flight battery disconnected. The changed controller position is only con-
sidered after connection of the flight battery to the receiver/controller component during internal reconcili-
ation.
Changes to the setting controller without dis- and reconnecting the flight battery will not result in any
change of gyro sensitivity.
The setting controller was factory-pre-set perfectly. Therefore, it is usually not required to turn the control-
ler. If you want to adjust the controller settings, move the controller in small steps only.
