11. Configuration options on the transmitter

a) Dual rate function for the drive function
The dual rate setting for the driving function is controlled via the "TH D/R" control dial (10). Put simply, you can use this
control dial to set the maximum speed of the vehicle (when the throttle/brake lever on the transmitter is fully pressed
down). This can be used, for example, the maximum speed limit for inexperienced drivers.
• Turn to the right, in clockwise direction (towards "MAX") = faster
• Turn to the left, in anti-clockwise direction (towards "MIN") = slower
If the control dial is turned all the way to the left (towards "MIN") the vehicle does not move forwards or
backwards.
If the control dial is moved all the way to the right (towards "MAX"), the speed is not limited.
b) Dual rate function for the steering
The "ST D/R" control dial (8) is used for the dual rate setting for the steering function. Using this function, you can set
the maximum steering angle when the steering wheel (1) is fully turned.
• Turn to the right, in clockwise direction (towards "MAX") = larger steering angle on full turn of the steering wheel
• Turn to the left, in anti-clockwise direction (towards "MIN") = smaller steering angle on full turn of the steering wheel
If the control dial is turned all the way to the left (towards "MIN"), the steering can no longer work.
If the control dial is moved all the way to the right (towards "MAX"), the steering angle is set to the vehicle's
maximum.
Warning!
The adjustable servo travel of the steering servo is larger than the steering angle limited by the steering
mechanism. If the "ST D/R" control dial (8) is moved to the "MAX" position, the steering servo buzzes
because the steering mechanism has reached the limit stop. The steering servo and its electronics are
overloaded in this position. Therefore set the "ST D/R" control dial so that the maximum steering angle is
at its maximum but the servo is not yet buzzing.
