Prerequisites
Before lifting the generator:
• refer to the Technical Data section for the proper operating
weight of the generator
• make sure the lifting devices have sufficient capacity to lift the
machine safely
• make sure the winch or crane to be used for lifting the machine is
in operable condition and designed for such work
A central lifting eye is located at the top of the generator and is
attached to a lifting frame inside the housing.
When lifting the generator, attach a hook or sling securely to the lifting
eye.
The generator trailer is equipped with brakes, lights, and coupler
connection.

Before towing the generator:
• Check that the towing vehicle and hitch have a rating equal to or
greater than the GVWR. See Technical Data.
• Check the condition of both the coupler and hitch. DO NOT tow
the trailer if the coupler or hitch is damaged.
