- To tighten the hub properly, a hammer stroke
must be used on the special C key (it is also
possible to use the caliper, hammer side, to
secure the spring weights).

WINUT DEVICE

The machine can be fitted with the WINUT
device - i.e. the activation of the automatic
wheel locking device C via the button on the
sleeve C (Fig.18a) rather than via the control
pedal (L, Fig.10).
This device can also be fitted on other machines,
by requesting the relevant accessory.
On the work screen, the machine visualises certain
icons relating to the device:
- : indicates that the machine recog-
nises the WINUT device;
- : indicates that the battery in the sleeve
C is charged;
- : indicates that the battery in the sleeve
C is at roughly the halfway point of its charge
level;

- :indicates that the battery in the sleeve
C needs to be replaced;
To replace the battery in the sleeve C, proceed
as follows:
- Open the sleeve C by loosening the six M3
fixing screws (Fig.18b);
- Remove the card inside it (Fig. 18c);
- Replace the battery in the sleeve C with a new
CR2450 3V;
- Assemble the sleeve C, following the disas-
sembly instructions in reverse order.
BALANCING
PROGRAMMES
Before starting a balancing operation, the follow-
ing steps must be followed:
- Mount the wheel on the hub using the most
suitable centring system.
- Make sure that the wheel is locked correctly
to the shaft so that no displacement can occur
during the spin and braking phases.
- Remove any counterweight, pebble, dirt or
other foreign body.
- Set the wheel's geometric data correctly
