5 Commissioning
5.5 Emergency stop
To fulfill the emergency stop requirements of
the operating personnel, contactors are inte-
grated into each LT30x, LTU350 and LTH12
servo amplifier. In case of an emergency,
these separate the EC motor from the servo
amplifier and prevent any danger to the oper-
ating personnel.
The following connection examples, which
match the requirements of the trade unions,
are recommended for the operation of the
Tightening System 300, the Smart Tools and
the ErgoSpin on System 300.
The user is responsible for adher-
ing to the system-specific require-
ments for emergency stop.
Observe the restart times from
chapter 5.3.2 when using external
power supply contactors in the su-
perior emergency stop circuits.
The emergency stop circuits are to
be tested for functionality before
the tightening system is started up!

5.5.1 SB301 and SB305
Terminal X20 serves to connect the superior
emergency stop circuit. The external circuits
can then be connected according to the fol-
lowing circuit diagrams. When the emer-
gency stop is triggered, the spindles are
stopped and isolated by the contactors.
SB301
Power is supplied to the emergency stop cir-
cuit via the free terminals X20.4-X20.5. The
bridge on X20.4.4 - X20.5.2 must be re-
moved.
SB305
Power is supplied to the emergency stop cir-
cuit via the crossbridge X20.6.1-X20.7.1.
This must be removed.
The power supply to the emergency stop is
made by the internal power supply (VM300)
over the X20.5.4-X20.6.2 bridge.
