3 Safety Notes
The system boxes are designed for
operation in industrial environ-
ments (emission class A), i.e.
–no direct connection to the pub-
lic low voltage power supply,
connection to medium or high volt-
age line using a transformer.
In residential, shopping and indus-
trial areas as well as in small busi-
nesses, class A devices can only
be used if they do not severely in-
terfere with other devices. In case
of radio interferences, the operat-
ing authority can request appropri-
ate measures to be taken in order
to remove the disturbance
A correct and safe product operation re-
quires proper transport, storage, assembly
and installation as well as careful handling.
The Technical Information is intended for
specially trained personnel who have special
knowledge of this machine's hardware com-
ponents.
Repairs or other operations on the
hard or software of our products, if
they are not described within
these instructions, may only be
carried out by Rexroth experts. Un-
qualified repairs or operations on
the hard or software or the failure
to observe the warnings within
these instructions or warnings
placed on the product itself could
lead to personal damage or dam-
age to property.

Qualified personnel are
–project personnel, familiar with
the safety regulations of automa-
tion systems and electrical engi-
neering,
–operators, instructed in the use
of the equipment and having
knowledge of the relevant parts
of this documentation referring to
operation,
–commissioning personnel au-
thorized to set electric circuits
and machines/systems into oper-
ation, earth and mark them, in ac-
cordance with the regulations of
security technology.
Only Rexroth authorized replace-
ment parts are to be used!
When using assemblies and com-
ponents, all necessary precautions
for ESD safety must be taken!
Avoid electrostatic discharges!
Modernization or changes could
affect the safety of the described
products!
This may cause severe personal
damage or damage to property or
to the environment. Therefore if the
system is to be altered or modern-
ized using equipment parts from
other manufacturers, permission
from Rexroth is required first.
