5 Commissioning
5.3.1 SBH301
The SBH301 (from left to right) consists of
the following: VM300, SEH3x2, BP303 and
LTH12.
Please proceed according to the
following sequence:
1 Set the LTH12 mains switch to position I
2 Connect X2, X7, X8 of the LTH
3 Place LTH on box
4 Connect mains connection to LTH12 –
X1 interface
5 Insert LTH12 in SBH301 at a slight slant
6 Secure LTH12
7 Connect X3 interface of the LTH
8 Connect X22, X27, X28 of the SEH3x2
(connection SEH3x2 to LTH12)
9 Mount front panel.

5.3.2 Mains connection and power
loss
The power connections have been designed
in accordance with the requirements of the
excess voltage category 3.
The system boxes can only be
used on grounded networks. Un-
der no circumstances can they be
operated on indirectly grounded
networks (IT network), as air and
creep paths in the module can be-
come overloaded.
Permissible protective measures
according to EN 50 178: protec-
tive grounding.
Each supply line to the system
boxes must have a ground con-
ductor (PE). In addition, a ground
conductor must be connected
with a minimum cross-section of

10 mm Cu, – X10 interface on the
base of the box.

To ensure the equipotential bond-
ing of all system components, the
carrier plate of the tightening spin-
dles should also be earthed in ad-
dition to the system boxes with a
minimum cross-section of 10 mm
