BLOCK (OR UNBLOCK) THE
16
FREE-MAX MEMORY
Caution! – This procedure can only be carried out with a transmitter that
has already been memorised in Mode 1.
This procedure allows the Free-Max memory to be blocked or unblocked to
prevent accidental memorisation of additional transmitters in the system.
01. Press and hold down key ■ (for approx. 5 sec-
(5")
onds), until the motor performs 1 VIBRATION;
1
then release the key.
02. Press and hold keys ▲ and ▼ simultaneously
(5")
(for approx. 5 seconds), until the motor per-
4
forms 4 SHORT motions; then release the
keys.
03. At this point:
• Press key ▲ once if you wish the BLOCK the
memory.
• Press key ▼ once if you wish the UNBLOCK
the memory.
The motor will then perform 3 LONG motions
(= memory blocked/memory unblocked).
Caution! – if an attempt is made to memorise a Transmitter with the
memory Blocked, the motor will perform 1 SHORT motion (= memory
blocked) instead of the usual 3 LONG motions foreseen in the transmitter
memorisation procedures.

PROGRAMMING OF "0" AND "1" POSITIONS
17
DURING SERIES PRODUCTION
Programming of limit switches "0" and "1" can be performed at the factory
during series production when installing the tubular motor into roller shut-
ters/awnings without having to memorise the FIRST TRANSMITTER, but
using a Transmitter that is not yet memorised.
01. Supply power to Free-Max: the motor will per-
form 2 LONG motions (= no transmitter mem-
2
on
orised).
02. Wait approximately 5 seconds until the motor
performs 1 SHORT motion. There are now 60
(5"...)
(60"...)
4
seconds available (or else 15 seconds from
when the last key was pressed) to program lim-
it switches "0" and "1", following one of the
three procedures described in paragraphs 5.1,
5.2 and 5.3.
