Adjust support roller:
1.
Release screw (N).
2. Adjust support roller (O).
 Distance between support roller and saw band app.
0.5 mm
Is the saw band moved manually it shall not touch
the support roller
3. Refasten screw (N).
Adjusting lower band guidance
The lower band guidance consists of:
 two guide pins (these guide the saw band laterally)
 a support roller (this supports the saw band from behind)
Readjust the guide pins and support roller after each
saw band exchange and each saw band adjustment.
Guide pins and support roller are wearing parts. Check
these regularly and replace the pins and roller in case of
wear at the same time.
To adjust the guide pins:
1. Open lower case door.
2.
Release screws (P / Q).
3. Press the guide pins (R / S) against the saw band.
4. Open upper door and turn band saw roll several times
manually clockwise that the guide pins set in the correct
position
 Both guide rollers must abut slightly on the saw band.
5. Refasten screws.
6.
Close both case doors.
Adjust support roller:
1.
Screw off the saw table plate (6) and the cover (23)
2. Open lower case door.
3.
Release screw (T).
4. Adjust support roller(U).
 Distance between support roller and saw band app.
0.5 mm

5. Refasten screw.
6. Refasten the saw table plate (6) and the cover (23)
7.
Close again the case door.
Replacing the rubber belts
The band saw rolls (5 / 13) are provided with rubber
belts (24). Worn out or damaged rubber belts must be
immediately replaced.
1. Open the case doors (2 / 4).
2. Remove the saw band ( "Replacing the saw band" on
page 21).
3.
Using a screw driver lift the rubber belt (24) and pull it
off from the band saw roll.
4. Fit a new rubber belt on the band saw roll.
5. Fit the saw band.
6.
Close the case door.

Replace table insert
Replace a worn-out or damaged table insert
immediately.
Push the table insert (9) from below out of the saw table
and replace it by a new table insert.

Transport

Remove mains plug before each transport.
Transport the saw only with:
 the upper saw band guidance positioned completely
downwards
 unscrewed jutting out accessories
Remove the mains plug from the socket.
 Store unused equipment in a dry, locked place out of the
reach of children.
 To extend the service life of the saw and guarantee smooth
operation, before storing for a longer period
 thoroughly clean the saw
 treat all movable parts with an environmentally friendly
oil
Never use any grease!
