BALANCER
CAUTION:
The balancer shaft driven gear nut and balancer

shaft drive gear bolt has left-handed threads.
Turn the retainer counterclockwise to tighten it.
NOTE:
Place an aluminum plate 1 or 2 between the teeth
1
of the balancer shaft drive gear 3 and balancer
shaft driven gear 4.
4. Tighten:
• Primary sheave drive shaft cover bolt
NOTE:
Apply LOCTITE
the " " marks on the primary sheave drive shaft
cover.
