Climb assist
Path: Settings | Device settings | Drive | Climb assist
The power sensor in the motor registers your pedalling force as you ride.
The motor controller interprets the pedal power signals and responds
(differently depending on the climb assist value setting). The lower the
set value (e.g. 1), the more sluggish the reaction of the motor when assist
is enabled. With a high value (e.g. 7), the motor reacts very responsively
to the pedal force. When riding uphill it can be an advantage if the power
sensor does not react so sensitively, so as to provide the motor assist as
evenly and smoothly as possible.

Ride profile
Profile: Settings | Device settings | Drive | Ride profile
In the ride profile, it is possible to specify the maximum assist level to be
achieved by the motor.
Select the ride profile in line with the routes you ride. For
a leisurely tour with friends at the weekend, the "Relax"
assist level is the right choice. If you often speed from one
appointment to the next, the "Dynamic" setting can inject
the necessary pace.
The most recent setting remains saved.
