16.2 Using the speed limiter
ON/OFF button
Press the ON/OFF button once for longer (> 1 sec) to switch on the
speed limiter.
One low-pitched and two high-pitched acoustic signals sound.
The LED on the control element lights up in green.
Press the ON/OFF button again to switch the speed limiter off.
The LED on the control element goes out.
SET button
Use the SET button to configure the currently preferred top speed.
Press the SET button and let go again immediately to save the speed you
are currently driving.
The LED on the control element lights up in red.
This speed is the current top speed until you switch off the device using
the ON/OFF button or set a new current top speed.
Varying the current top speed
If the speed limiter is activated, you have the option of fine tuning it.
This allows you to align the current top speed with the exact speed limits.
Touch the SET button to increase the speed by 1 km/h.
Press the SET button for 1 second to increase the speed by 10 km/h.
Touch the RES button to decrease the speed by 1 km/h.
Press the RES button for 1 second to reduce the speed by 10 km/h.
If, for example, you wish to increase the current top speed by around 5 km/h,
touch the SET button five times.
NOTE
I
If you press and hold the SET button or the RES button, the current
top speed will be increased or decreased accordingly. The system
saves the value which was reached when the button was let go.
