4.8 POWER LIFT

The following operating modes can be used:
Controlled Position
Controlled Draft
Floating
Mixed mode
Controlled Position
Ideal for jobs that require constant implement position (drills, dozer/graders,
trailed manure spreaders, etc.).
• Push lever (14, fig. 1) all the way back
• Use lever (15, fig. 1) to raise or lower the lift. Lift movement will match that of
the lever.
Controlled draft
Ideal for jobs that require constant tractor draft performance (ploughs, rotary
cultivators, etc.). This mode prevents engine overload and wheel slipping.
• Push lever (15, fig. 1) all the way back.
• Use lever (14, fig. 1) to raise or lower the lift.
Floating
Floating mode frees the lift links completely and permits the implement mounted
to follow the contour of the ground (for example: cultivating, ridging, dozers,
etc.).
• Push lever (14, fig. 1) all the way back.
• Use lever (15, fig. 1) to raise or lower the lift.
Mixed mode
This is ideal when you want to prevent the implement from lifting out beyond a
set height.
• Raise the implement to the required height using lever (15, fig. 1)
• Raise or lower the lift with lever (14, fig. 1).
Adjusting lift rate and sensitivity
Screw in register (16, fig. 1) under the seat all the way to lock the implement in
its raised position. Use this as further safety for on-road driving.
Screw out the register to increase lift lowering rate.
The 3-point hitch must NOT be used to pull implements.
