The ISO-TECH IMT-3300 Insulation, Continuity, Loop and
RCD Tester has been designed to comply with current lEE
Regulations and International Standards. By using the latest
technology, this instrument will give accurate and reliable
results when used in accordance with these operating
instructions.
1 Safety warnings
 Warning! Electricity can cause severe injuries even with
low voltages or currents. It is extremely important these
instructions are fully read and understood before using this
instrument.
The following symbols or terms may appear on the instrument
or in these instructions:

1.1 This instrument must only be used by competent and
trained persons and in strict accordance with these
instructions. If this instrument is used in a manner not
specified in these instructions, the protection afforded by
the instrument may be impaired.
1.2 This instrument must only be used on single-phase
circuits with a supply voltage of 230 Volts ac +10, -15%
phase to neutral or phase to earth. Do not connect the
instrument between phases on a 3-phase 415 Volts
system.
1.3 When conducting tests, particularly if using earth spikes,
do not touch any exposed metalwork. Currents flowing
during the test may generate hazardous voltages in any
earthed metalwork.
1.4 Never open the instrument case except for battery or fuse
replacement. Disconnect all test leads from the circuit and
unplug them from the instrument before opening the case.
1.5 Replace the protective fuse inside the instrument only
with the specified type or equivalent (0.5A/600V) fast
acting, high breaking capacity ceramic type to IEC127.
