4. Performance test and operating procedure

Inspect the cautery electrodes regularly before application.
Never use cautery electrodes which show any signs of
damage.

WARNING
During operation, the KAUTER N produces heat at the
electrode tip. It must therefore always be ensured that
anesthetics, skin cleansing, degreasing and disinfectant
agents are neither flammable nor explosive. They should
at least have completely evaporated before activating the
unit and be removed from the area of the electrode tip.
