8. Guarantee conditions

8.1 Transport damage
The unit and accessories must be inspected immediately
upon delivery for defects and transport damage. Claims
for damage in this regard are only valid if the seller or
carrier is notified immediately. A damage report must be
prepared.
8.2 Equipment guarantee
The term of the guarantee for the KAUTER N surgical
unit is 3 years, calculated from the day of delivery.
A guarantee claim may only be made if the correctly
filled out guarantee certificate is presented.
The scope of the guarantee encompasses repair of the
surgical unit free of charge, on the condition that damage
was caused by material or manufacturing error. All other
claims, in particular claims of compensation, are
excluded.
Repairs must only be made by us, our representatives or
by authorized dealers. The guarantee claim becomes void
if unauthorized changes or repairs were made.
The guarantee is neither extended nor renewed through
guarantee services.
