INCREASING THE AIR PRESSURE
1. Set the fork to "OPEN" mode (see "4.2 Setting the riding
mode" on page 25 from page 26).
2. Unscrew the cover on the air side of the fork using the
setup tool (Torx T10) supplied in the RWS lever.
3. Unscrew the dust cap.
4. Screw on the shock pump and pump the fork up to the
required pressure.
Follow the instructions issued by the pump manufacturer!
5. With the pump attached, slowly compress the fork twice by about 10 mm and then decompress
fully.
→ This equalises the positive and negative air chambers.
→ Once the pressure displayed on the shock pump stops changing after compression, the two air
chambers have equalised.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the desired pressure is displayed on the shock pump after compression.
7. Unscrew the shock pump and screw the dust cap onto the valve.
8. Fit the cover and tighten the screw until it is hand-tight (max. 0.2 Nm) using the setup tool (Torx
T10).
REDUCING THE AIR PRESSURE
1. Set the fork to "OPEN" mode (see "4.2 Setting the riding mode" on page 25).
2. Unscrew the cover on the air side of the fork using the setup tool (Torx T10) supplied in the RWS
lever.
3. Unscrew the dust cap.
4. SLOWLY press the valve insert with the back of the dust cap.

Screw on the shock pump and SLOWLY reduce the air pressure by pressing the release valve on
the shock pump.
5. With the pump attached, slowly compress the fork twice by about 10 mm and then decompress
fully.
→ This equalises the positive and negative air chambers.
→ Once the pressure displayed on the shock pump stops changing after compression, the two air
chambers have equalised.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the desired pressure is displayed on the shock pump after compression.
7. Unscrew the shock pump and screw the dust cap onto the valve.
8. Fit the cover and tighten the screw until it is hand-tight (max. 0.2 Nm) using the setup tool (Torx
T10).
