1. Open box and pull pouch out.
2. Peel apart pouch tabs and present product tray to personnel in sterile environment.
Pre-Use Inspection
Prior to introducing device into the patient, complete the following functionality checks:
1. Inspect packaging and all components for damage.
2. Inspect rings for misalignment. If rings are misaligned, do not use device. A slight gap between the rings is
acceptable.
Instructions for Use
1. Perform a surgical cut down to the vessel that requires treatment.
2. Isolate the vessel and perform an arteriotomy long enough to expose the atheromatous core.
3. Dissect the atheromatous core from the vessel wall using the appropriate surgical instruments.
4. Use the MultiTASC Sizing Tool to confirm the ring size required.
5. Select the MultiTASC Dissection/Transection Device that corresponds to ring size determined in the previous
step.
