4.5 MX2 Cane Clamp/Mounting Plate Installation:
The MX2 Cane Clamps are designed to allow installation onto 1" (25mm),
7/8" (22mm) and 3/4" (19mm) back cane diameters. (Plastic Inserts (A) are
provided to accommodate smaller diameter back canes*).
1 Remove existing wheelchair back (if applicable).
2 Loosely install the Cane Clamp Assembly (B) onto each back cane in the
desired configuration- refer to Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 for an installation overview.
*Accomodating Different Sized Back Canes:
1" (25mm) canes - Plastic inserts not required
7/8" (22mm) canes - Install 7/8" (22mm) plastic inserts (x2)
3/4" (19mm) canes - Install 3/4" (19mm) plastic inserts (x2)

on the back canes and on the
inside of the plastic inserts to create
a secure 'no-slip' bond.
