NOTE:
Recheck the engine oil level after running
the engine for several minutes. If the
engine oil is still not within the proper level,
add/drain as needed.
MEASURING THE OIL PRESSURE
Measure:
•
Oil pressure
Out of specification → Check the oil
pump, oil suction pipe, and oil
strainer.
NOTE:
• Warm-up the engine before measuring
the oil pressure.
• Use a pressure gauge with the range of
0 to 10 kgf/cm
PT 1/8 thread.
Measuring steps
(1) Remove the oil pressure switch.

(2) Install the oil pressure gauge
the oil pressure switch hole.)
(3) Start the engine.
(4) Measure the oil pressure at idling.
