BLEEDING THE POWER TRIM AND
TILT UNIT
1. Bleed:
•
Air bubbles
Bleeding steps
(1) Close the manual valve by turning it
clockwise.
(2) Set the Power trim and tilt unit upright.
(3) Remove the reservoir plug and make
sure the Power trim and tilt fluid is up
to the brim of the reservoir plug hole. If
the Power trim and tilt fluid is below the
brim of the reservoir plug hole, add
fluid until it is to the proper level.
(4) Install the reservoir plug.
(5) Connect the Power trim and tilt motor
leads to the battery terminals.

NOTE:
The sound of Power trim and tilt motor will
change when the free piston is at the top of
the cylinder.
