Description

The Dräger FPS 7000 RP is available in various versions:
– as full face mask (consisting of mask body and head harness or
hairnet).
– as mask/helmet combination (consisting of mask body with S-fix or
Q-fix mask/helmet adapter and associated helmet).
WARNING
The S-fix and Q-fix mask/helmet adapters must only be used in
combination with a helmet which has the correct mask guide
(Figure J).
Otherwise the tightness of mask/helmet combination cannot be
ensured and there is a danger of inhaling toxic substances.
NOTICE
Full face masks must not be retrofitted, otherwise the approval will be
invalidated.
Strictly follow the corresponding instructions for use of the helmet.
All Dräger FPS 7000 RP have a wiper.
One Dräger FPS 7000 RP model is equipped with a drinking valve. A
drinking tube can be used to connect a CamelBak
to the Dräger FPS 7000 RP. However, this drinking reservoir is not
suitable and approved for fire fighting.
Optionally, the Dräger FPS 7000 RP can be equipped with a
telephone device ("mine telephone") or a Dräger MS-COM. Mask
spectacles can be inserted for users who wear spectacles.
The Dräger FPS 7000 RP can be used within a temperature range

from –30 C to +60 C.

Intended use

The Dräger FPS 7000 RP protect the face and eyes against
aggressive media. They must only be used with Dräger PSS BG 4 /
PSS BG 4 plus and Dräger Tramix closed-circuit breathing apparatus.

Limitations on use

Beards and sideburns in the sealing area of the full face mask will
cause leakages! Therefore the full face mask should not be used by
anyone with facial hair of this sort. Earpieces in the sealing area also
cause leakages. Use special mask spectacles.

The full face masks are approved according to:
 EN 136:1998 CL.3+
 TR CU 019/2011
 (EU) 2016/425
The mask/helmet combinations are also approved according to:
 DIN 58610
Declaration of conformity: see www.draeger.com/product-certificates
Both versions meet the flame engulfment requirements stipulated in
EN 137. The full face masks and mask/helmet combinations in
combination with the Dräger PSS BG 4 / PSS BG 4 plus are
approved according to EN 145.
