OPERATION

Press the power key 1 for approx. 1 sec. to power on the FKL 55 (Green). The laser will completey
initialize and begin to work. (If the power key has not been pressed long enough the FKL 55 (Green) will
not initialize correctly.) Press key 1 again to power off FKL 55 (Green). It can also be powered off with
the remote control -> the instrument will be in standby mode.
ALIGNMENT OF THE LASER
Inclination front / back (in laser direction)
If the instrument was set up beyond the self-levelling range or if the grade setting is beyond same the
laser dot and LED will flash. Then, set up the instrument on a more even surface or correct the grade
setting as follows:
Display indication
= the handle side of the instrument must be inclined upwards
Display indication
= the handle side of the instrument must be inclined downwards
Banking
The laser is equipped with a digital vial that shows the alignment of the instrument. The laser is set up
correctly if the vial is centered.
Display - FLASHES
The laser is out of tolerance on the left side - correct the set up.
