Programming master transmitter
Note
The master transmitter is the first transmitter programmed on a receiv-
er. Unlike other programmed transmitters, the master transmitter can
perform a range of tasks, including programming or deletion of other
transmitters. All transmitters that have a separate UP, STOP, DOWN
button and a programming button can be master transmitters.
If a master transmitter is already programmed on the receiver, press
the programming button of the transmitter for 10 seconds.
Press the programming button of the transmitter for 3 seconds when it is ready
to programme. The system will confirm the programme setting with a 'nod', i.e.
the shutter/awning/blind moves a few centimetres in one direction and then
reverses the same distance.
This confirmation is hereafter referred to as 'nodding'.
The programming process is now complete.
Programming additional transmitters
Note
In addition to the master transmitter, up to 15 further transmitters can
be programmed in the UC520.
Press the programming button of the master transmitter for 3 seconds.
The shutter/awning/blind will 'nod' to confirm.
Now press the programming button of a new transmitter which has not yet been
programmed in the UC520 for 3 seconds. Doing so activates the programming
mode of the UC520 for a new transmitter for 3 minutes.
The shutter/awning/blind will 'nod' to confirm.
Now repress the programming button of the new transmitter you wish to pro-
gramme for 3 seconds.
The shutter/awning/blind will 'nod' to confirm.
The new transmitter has been successfully programmed.
