Drive controller
If the UC520 is used as a drive control device, the drive is directly connected to
the device. External signals are converted into control commands. The coding
switch 2 must be in the lower position.
Group controller
If the UC520 is used as a group control device, other group control devices/
drive control devices can also be controlled. This control can relay external
switching signals.
This function can be used to connect groups and carry out joint switching com-
mands. The coding switch 2 must be in the upper position.
Roller shutters, awnings or blinds
The roller shutter/awning operation (down) and venetian blind operation (up)
can be adjusted using coding switch 3. When the venetian blind mode is se-
lected, the venetian blind moves in nonmaintained command mode in order to
allow for the blind slats to be positioned precisely. If a control command button
is held pressed for more than 1 second, the venetian blind will move in main-
tained command mode.
