CALIBRATION
[Calibration using the internal oscillator (94 dB, 1 kHz sine curve)]
Select following settings:
· Display: dB, A, Lo, F
· Function: A-weighting
· Response time: FAST
· Level range: 35 – 100 dB
The functions MAX HOLD and DATA HOLD must be disabled.
Insert the microphone housing carefully into the aperture
of the calibrator.
Power on the calibrator (94 dB, 1kHz) and adjust the CAL
potentiometer of the unit. The display will show the desired level.
Our products are well calibrated before shipment.
However, we recommend a calibration cycle of one year.
MAX HOLD FUNCTION
The MAX HOLD function is used to measure the maximum level of sounds. The maximum level is
updated continuously. Press the button once to activate this function and press it again to return to the
normal measuring mode.

DATA HOLD FUNCTION

With the DATA HOLD function the current value measurend will be frozen in the display. Keep the
HOLD button pressed for 2 sec. to activate or to deactivate this function.
