9.1. Replacing the nozzle set
and [7-6]
Every SATA nozzle set consists of "paint needle" [7-1], "air cap" [7-2]
and "fluid tip" [7-3] and has been hand-adjusted to provide a perfect
spray pattern. Lubricate both paint needle [7-1] in the paint needle area
(approx. 3 cm in front of the needle sleeve, paint needle spring) and ma-
terial flow control screw [1-11]. Therefore, always exchange the complete
nozzle set. After installation, please adjust material flow according to
chapter 7.2.
9.2. Replace paint needle seal
The needle needs to be replaced if spray medium starts to leak from the
self-adjusting paint needle pack. Remove trigger guard according to [8-
2]. After removal, check paint needle for damage, replace nozzle set if
necessary. When installing the trigger guard, make sure that the ironing
roll is positioned correctly [8-2]. After installation, set material throughput
according to chapter 7.2.
