Note!
Controller enable (terminal 28) is only evaluated in slot 1! Terminal 28 of the
function module in slot 2 is not active.
1. Mark the position of the cable glands on the carrier housing and cut out the
openings
2. Insert the cable glands
3. Cables which are led into the carrier housing must be stripped. The following applies
to all shielded cables:
– Strip 10 cm of the cable sheath
– Remove the shielding of the cable cores on a length of 8 cm
– 2 cm of the shield are needed for safe shield connection
4. Remove the FIF cover 0 and keep it
5. Remove the protection cover of each function module 1 and keep it
6. Plug the function module into the support:
– If only one function module is used, the function module must be always plugged
into slot 1
– If two function modules are used, the BusI/O E82ZAFB201 must be always plugged
into slot 1. The bus function module must be always plugged into slot 2.
7. In case of operation with fan module E82ZMV:
– Plug in the fan cable connector at the lower side of the function module support
8. Screw the support into the carrier housing
9. Wiring: see Mounting Instructions for the respective function module
