3. Gently pull the fuse A straight out away from the
holder B.
4. Insert new fuse.
Make sure only a fuse with correct rating 10A
250V slow blow is used.
5. Re-insert battery, re-assemble the hoist, insert the
hand control and reset the emergency stop.
6.8 Adjusting the solenoid until the
hoist traverses
Robin® Mover only.
4 mm Allen key; 7 mm spanner
1. Pull the red emergency strap.
2. With the ceiling hoist remaining on the track, remove
both plastic shells:
a. Remove the screws securing the plastic shells from
the rail motor.
b. Pull the plastic shells away from each other to
remove them from the rail motor.
3. Using a cloth, protect the solenoid plunger whilst
clamping with grips at the same time.
Using a 7 mm spanner raise the nut A by turning
anti-clockwise 2 complete turns.

4. For testing, restrain the hoist with one hand whilst
pressing the Left or Right button on the hand control.
There should be good contact between the white
drive wheel and the underside of the track. If not,
repeat step 3.
5. Reassemble the plastic shells. Ensure the correct
orientation, with clearance for the plate above the
solenoid to move up and down freely. See images
in step 2.

6.9 Adjusting the Strap Switches

CAUTION!
Static electricity can damage the PCBs inside
the hoist.
Before working in the inside of the hoist:
– Pull the red emergency strap to turn off the
hoist.
– Remove the hoist from the track system.
(Refer to 6.1 Dismounting the ceiling hoist,
page 12)
– Remove the cover from the hoist. (Refer to
6.3 Removing the hoist cover, page 13)
– An anti-static mat must be used when
working inside the ceiling hoist.

References to the emergency lowering end stop
switch are exclusively applicable to newer product
models.
1. Place the hoist on a surface (such as the corner of a
table) so that the hoist is supported yet the straps
and hand control are free hanging. Ensure the hoist is
safe and cannot slip/fall of the table.
2. Locate the loose strap switch A. Visually check if there
is clearance between collet C and the chassis.

a. If not: whilst retaining the geometry of the slack
strap wire E and the collet arm, loosen the collet's
grub screw G with a 2 mm Allen key.
b. Create clearance between collet and chassis.
c. Ensure the slack strap wire E is centered between
both chassis plates. Apply thread lock and retighten
the collet's grub screw G.
