The OXY 4100/4150/3150 offers additional functions that are accessible
via the USC 5000/7000 signal converter or via HART
For the HART
data exchange the use of a PC or a PLC with HART
®
modem and corresponding software is required.
All universal commands are fully implemented. This also applies to the
necessary common practice commands. For the full use of the
transmitter however, specific device commands are used.
The following values can be read out via HART
•
Oxygen concentration
•
Temperature
•
Remaining service life of the OXY 1100 sensor
•
Warning messages
•
Display of the calibration end
During the calibration/the replacement of the OXY 1100 sensor, the
following tasks can be performed with help from the HART
communication:
•
Starting of the calibration procedure
•
Entry of the values of the relative humidity, of the air pressure and of
the salinity, so these can be compensated
•
Set operating hours counter to zero
The signal converter USC 5000/7000 can either be configured as
primary- or secondary master. The setup is performed as shown in
Figure 38, page
120.

communication the following settings can be
programmed:
•
Setup of the measurement range
•
Switch-off of the tilt switch that automatically triggers the calibration
procedure
•
Setup of the output signal to 4 mA, 20 mA or the last measured
value during the calibration
•
Switch-off of alarm messages at the current output
•
Start of the measurement procedure after completed calibration
•
Change of type of the OXY 1100 sensor
