CHECKING THE AILERON SERVOS

1.
Connect the aileron servo to the receiver. Center the aileron
stick and trim. Check that the pushrod is 90-degrees to the
servo arm. If not, either remove the servo arm and adjust, or
use the sub-trim when using a computer radio.

Check the aileron to make sure it is aligned with the wing.
3.
If the aileron is not aligned, disconnect the clevis and thread it
in or out to correct the alignment of the aileron.
4.
Once adjusted, reconnect the clevis to the aileron control
horn. Slide the silicone retainer over the forks of the clevis to
prevent it from disconnecting from the control horn
5.
Pull the retract and servo leads through the holes in the top
of the wing.
Î Repeat this section for the remaining wing panel.

Slide the wing tube into the socket in the wing. It will slide in
easily, do not force it in father than it will easily slide.
7.
Slide the remaining wing panel on the wing tube. The wing
panels will fit together tightly and with no gaps.
JOINING THE WING PANELS FOR HIGHER POWER
CONFIGURATIONS (OPTIONAL)
When using a higher power configuration, it is recommended to
glue the wing panels together to increase their strength.
8.
Slide the wing tube into the socket in the wing. It will slide in
easily, do not force it in father than it will easily slide. Check
the fit in both wing panels.
9.
Wrap low-tack tape around the wing (top and bottom)
1/8-inch (3mm) from the root of the wing. This will help
prevent getting epoxy on the wing. Prepare both wing panels
at this time.
Î Read through the following steps before mixing
any epoxy. These steps must be completed
before the epoxy begins to cure.
10. Remove the wing tube from the wing panel. Mix 1/2 ounce
(15mL) of 30-minute epoxy. Apply epoxy in each of the wing
tube sockets using an epoxy brush. Slide the wing tube back
into one of the wing tube sockets in one wing panel.
