Riding

6.1

Charging the battery

Be sure to follow the safety instructions when handling
the battery: "2.2 Safe use of the battery pack".
Please fully charge the battery before your first ride.
1. Fold away the dust cap on the charging port.
2. First connect the charger to the mains and then to
the charging port on the bike.
→ During the charging process, the LED on the
charger flashes green.
→ The battery is fully charged when the LED on the
charger lights up green continuously.
3. Once charging is complete, close the charging port
with the dust cap.

Switching the system on / off

1. Briefly press the on/off button on the display to switch the system on.
→ The system is activated.
2. To switch the system off, press and hold the on/off button on the display (longer than 3 seconds).
→ The system is switched off.

Battery status display

After switching on the system, the battery status is shown on the display: Press and hold the on/off button to switch
between different display views.
6.4

Choosing the assistance level

By pressing the "UP" or "DOWN" button, you can choose between 3 assistance levels:
• The assistance level is increased by briefly pressing the "UP" button.
• The assistance level is reduced by briefly pressing the "DOWN" button.
• The selected assistance mode I, II or III is visualised on the display with the corresponding number of bars.

Extended features and information

The TQ system offers a wide range of setting and customisation options. The TQ app can
be used to establish a connection between the smartphone and the e-bike system. A
connection between a bike computer and the TQ system is also possible.
