Installation and replacement of components and accessories
Trailers and child bike seats
Bicycle trailers must only be fixed to the rear axle using special hitching devices. Child seats and trailers with clamp
mounting on the seat post or frame must not be used. Do not exceed the bicycle's maximum load with the addition of a
trailer.
Luggage racks / mudguards
Do not mount any luggage racks. The frame has no mounts for mudguards. However, mudguards can be fitted and
clamped to the frame or fastened with straps.
Replacement of components
Before installing components and accessories, please read the respective manufacturer's manual. Do not exceed the
maximum system weight (see "1.10 Weight limit" on page 34) even with all add-on parts and accessories fitted!
As e-bike components are subjected to heavy loads, you cannot simply replace them. In most cases, you must obtain
approval from ROSE Bikes or the component manufacturer before replacing a component. Also see "8. Maintenance and
care" on page 53. Please contact ROSE Bikes in case of any questions.
1.8
Warranty and guarantee
For all information on warranty and guarantee see rosebikes.com/termsandconditions.
If you want to make a warranty claim for your bike or individual components, you are obliged to return the entire bike and
not just the defective components. This is the only way we can check whether the requirements for statutory warranty
claims have been met.
