  • Page 3 Verkaufst oder verschenkst du deine Schutzbleche, muss diese Bedienungsanleitung beigelegt werden. Kompatibilität Die Schutzbleche sind ausschließlich für die Montage an einem ROSE Backroad, Backroad AL, und Backroad+ vorgesehen. Die maximale Reifenbreite, mit der die Schutzbleche verwendet werden dürfen, beträgt 40 mm.

  • Page 10 Wartung und Pflege Regelmäßige Wartung und Pflege sorgen für eine lange und zuverlässige Haltbarkeit sowie eine uneingeschränkte Funk- tion. ROSE Bikes empfiehlt folgende Tätigkeiten: • Reinige die Schutzbleche und den Gepäckträger regelmäßig mit klarem Wasser. Prüfe beides dabei auf Beschädi- gungen.
  • Page 11 If you sell or give away your mudguards, please also include the owner’s manual. Compatibility The mudguards are exclusively designed for mounting on a ROSE Backroad, Backroad AL, and Backroad+. The mudguards may be used with a maximum tyre width of 40 mm.

Put both protective plugs (5) on the ends of the struts (3). 3. Attach the struts to the mudguard, insert the bolts (7) from the outside through the strut and mudguard and screw on the nuts (6).
  • Page 13 2. Check the threads in the fork. → The threads must be intact and free from impurities and carbon fibres. 3. Attach the mudguard to the mount at the fork of your Backroad and tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 2 Nm (A).
  • Page 14 4 Nm Backroad Aluminium only 6 Nm Drilling the mudguard [Backroad Aluminium only] 1. Mark the spot on the mudguard where the hole is to be drilled. The distance from the lower edge of the mudguard must be 65 mm.

For the Backroad Aluminium, use the hole you have drilled before. 4. Mark the position of the hole in the seat stay bridge as accurately as possible with a permanent marker.

  • Page 18 • Make sure to securely attach all panniers to the rack. Maintenance and care Regular care and maintenance ensure high durability and reliability, as well as unlimited functionality. ROSE Bikes recom- mends carrying out the following tasks: • Clean the mudguards and rear rack regularly with clean water. While doing so, check both for damages.
