10 Removing and Fitting the Battery
► Switch off the lawn mower and remove the
batteries.
► Place the lawn mower on a level surface.
► Raise the upper part of the handlebar (1).
► Tighten the star knob nuts (2).
► Pull out the rotary knobs (3) partly and turn
them by 90°.
► Raise the handlebar (4) all the way up.
► Align the handlebar (4) so that the pins (5) of
the rotary knobs align with the required set‐
ting.
► Turn the rotary knobs (6) by 90 °.
The pins of the rotary knobs must engage in
the bores at the same height.

Folding down the handlebar
WARNING
■ When folding down the handlebar, fingers or
other body parts may get caught between the
parts of the handlebar.
► Work carefully.
The handlebar can be folded down for space-
saving transport and storage.

► Switch off the lawn mower and remove the
batteries.
► Place the lawn mower on a level surface.
► Move the cutting height to setting 4.
► Hold the handlebar (1) with one hand at its
highest point, pull out both rotary knobs (2)
partly and turn them by 90°.
► Fold over the handlebar (1). Make sure that no
wires or body parts are caught in it.
► Turn both rotary knobs (2) by 90 °.
► Push the handlebar (1) upwards so that the
pins (3) of the rotary knobs engage.
The handlebar is now locked in place.
► Undo the star grip nuts (4).
► Fold over the upper part of the handle (5).
The handlebar is now folded down.

compartments. A replacement battery can be
carried.
