► Open the discharge flap (1) and hold it open.
► Take hold of the grass catcher box (2) by the
handle (3) and attach the hook (4) to the
shaft (5).
► Lower the discharge flap (1) onto the grass
catcher box (2).
8.2.2 Detaching the Grass Catcher Box
► Switch the lawn mower off.
► Place the lawn mower on a level surface.
► Open the discharge flap and hold it open.
► Remove the grass catcher box upwards by the
handle.
► Close the discharge flap.
8.3 Fitting and Removing the
Mulch Plug
8.3.1 Inserting the mulching insert
► Switch off the lawn mower and remove the
batteries.
► Place the lawn mower on a level surface.
► Open the discharge flap (1) and hold it open.
► Take hold of the mulching insert (2) by the
handle (3) and insert it in the discharge
chute (4).
► Close the discharge flap (1).
8.3.2 Removing the mulching insert
► Switch off the lawn mower and remove the
batteries.
► Place the lawn mower on a level surface.
► Open discharge flap and hold it open.
► Remove the mulching insert.
► Close discharge flap.

8.4 Attaching and Detaching the
Extension
8.4.1 Engaging the extension
► Switch off the lawn mower and remove the
batteries.
► Place the lawn mower on a level surface.
► Open the side discharge flap (1) and hold it
open.
► Engage both hooks (2) on the shaft (3) from
below.
► Rest the side discharge flap (1) on the exten‐
sion (4).
8.4.2 Disengaging the extension
► Switch off the lawn mower and remove the
batteries.
► Place the lawn mower on a level surface.
► Open the side discharge flap (1) and hold it
open.
► Fold the extension (2) upward and remove it.
► Close side discharge flap (1).

9.1 Raising and adjusting the han‐
dlebar
