► Turn the fuel tank cap (1) counterclockwise
until it can be removed.
► Remove the fuel tank cap.
► When using a suitable filling aid to pour fuel,
ensure that a gap of at least 15 mm remains
free under the edge of the fuel tank.
► Install the fuel tank cap on the tank.
► Turn the tank cap clockwise and tighten it
down firmly by hand.
The fuel tank is closed.

8.1
Unfolding the handlebar
► Shut off the engine.
► Pull off the spark plug boot.
► Place the lawn mower on a level surface.
► Hold the handlebar (1) securely.
► Depress the lever (2) and keep it pressed.
► Fold open the handlebar (1) and make sure
that the Bowden cable (3) does not jam.
► Release the lever (2).
The handlebar engages in position with an
audible click.
► Depress the control bar (4) to the handle‐
bar (1) and keep it pressed.

► Pull the starter grip (5) slowly in the direction
of the Bowden cable guide (6).
► Attach the starter grip (5) to the Bowden cable
guide (6).
► Release the control bar (4).
► Attach the spark plug boot.
8.2
Folding down the handlebar
The handlebar can be folded down for space-
saving transport and storage.
► Shut off the engine.
► Pull off the spark plug boot.
► Place the lawn mower on a level surface.
► Disengage the starter grip from the Bowden
cable guide and guide it slowly in the direction
of the engine.
► Hold the handlebar (1) securely.
► Depress the lever (2) and keep it pressed.
► Fold down handlebar (1).
► Release the lever (2).
The handlebar engages in position with an audi‐
ble click.
► Attach the spark plug boot.
8.3
Adjusting the Handlebar
► Stop the engine.
► Detach the spark plug socket.
► Place the lawn mower on a level surface.
