► Folden open the handlebar (1) and ensure that
the control cables (2) are not pinched.
► Screw in the quick release clamps (1).
► Close the quick release clamps (1) in the
direction of the handlebar (2).
The handlebar (2) is firmly attached to the
lawn mower, and the quick release clamps (1)
fit flat against the handlebar (2).
8.1.2 Folding down the handlebar
The handlebar can be folded down for space-
saving transport and storage.
► Switch off the lawn mower and remove the
batteries.
► Place the lawn mower on a level surface.

► Hold the handlebar (1) and open the quick
release clamps (2).
► Fold the handlebar (1) down and toward the
front.

9.1 Inserting the battery
RMA 2.2 RV:
The RMA 2.2 RV lawn mower is equipped with a
battery compartment (3) and a transport com‐
partment (4). The lawn mower can only be oper‐
ated with the battery in the battery compart‐
ment (3). A replacement battery can be carried in
transport compartment (4).
RMA 2.2 RPV:
The RMA 2.2 RPV lawn mower can be operated
with two batteries. As soon as the battery in the
first battery compartment (3) is discharged, the
machine automatically switches to the battery in
the second battery compartment (4). There must
always be a battery in the first battery compart‐
ment (3) when working.
► Place the lawn mower on a level surface.
