CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE

5.1

Malfunctioning

Corrective maintenance operations, the replacement of spare parts, and all operations regarding the
lighting system must be carried out by qualified and authorised staff.
Note: if malfunctions are identified, before calling the service centre make sure the power cord is properly
inserted and check for power. If the malfunction persists, call the service centre providing details of:
the data on the ID plate affixed to the side of the device (par. 2.1, fig.4);
the date of purchase;
any alarm codes visible on the display.
Note: any attempts to modify or repair the device shall invalidate the warranty. Turn to qualified and
authorised technicians only.
5.2

Disposal of device

USER INFORMATION
Pursuant to Directive 2011/65/EU, and 2012/19/EU on the restriction of the use of
certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, as well as the
disposal of waste.
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on the device or its packaging indicates that the
product must be collected separately from other waste, at the end of its useful life.
DISPOSAL OF PACKAGING: the components of the packaging (bags, film, polystyrene) are
potentially hazardous to children and animals (danger of suffocation). The packaging is made using
materials that can be recycled pursuant to the Directives in the country where the device must be disposed
of.
DISPOSAL OF DEVICE: at the end of its useful life, the user must deliver the device to suitable waste sorting
centres for electrical and electronic equipment, or return it to the retailer at the time of purchase of a new
equivalent device, in a one to one ratio.
The proper sorting of parts for their subsequent recycling, treatment and/or environmentally friendly
disposal, helps to avoid negative effects on the environment and on human health, and encourages the
reuse and/or recycling of the materials composing the device.
The illegal disposal of the product by the user may lead to the application of the administrative penalties
laid down by the legislation in force.
The main materials composing the device in question are:
Steel;
Plastic;
Copper;
Aluminium;
Polyurethane.
